Network of enlightened Women at UNC Charlotte

When you're in college, you live to find the perfect internship to fill your summers with. No matter what your major is or where your heart lies, there is definitely an internship for you! Hannah Whitlow is a sophomore at UNC Charlotte majoring in Political Science and minoring in Criminal Justice. With a strong love of politics, Network of enlightened Women gives Hannah just another way to get involved. She's currently treasurer of NeW and actively involved with UNCC's College Republicans . This summer, Hannah packed her backs and headed to Capitol Hill to work for Jeff Duncan , the representative of South Carolina’s third district. Mainly working the front desk, she had the privilege to answer the phone when constituents called  - especially during times of trial. Looking forward to starting the 2017 Fall semester at UNC Charlotte , the Executive Board came together to discuss some of the reasons as to why they wanted to run for a position and get the ball rolling for their first *full* year on campus! Jessica Martinez, a junior double majoring in Communications and Political Science, is presiding this party. She stated that she is ecstatic to begin her journey as president of the NeW chapter!! Her favorite thing about NeW is that,"it offers a wonderful opportunity to become a part of a network that empowers young women to become strong, bold, and educated leaders."
